Laminate flooring is an extremely hardwearing floor covering, which is made up of a number of layers. The board starts with a HDF core, which then has a decorative resinated finish applied to it. This is followed by a resistant overlay film, which is fused onto the top surface. Designs have vastly improved over recent years and it is now virtually impossible to tell a good quality laminate from a real wood floor once it is laid. With new finishes such as registered embossing, beveled edges and extremely realistic textures, laminates now look as good as the real thing!

What Else Will I Need to Fit My Laminate Floor

Damp Proof Membrane (DON'T WORRY WE SELL THEM)
This is required for all installations and is available in 12m2 quantities.

Suitable Underlay (DON'T WORRY WE SELL THEM)
We have 2mm foam underlay available which is available in 10m2 rolls.

Matching Edging (DON'T WORRY WE SELL THEM)
Either beading or new skirting is needed to cover the expansion gaps around the edges of the room.

Matching Profiles (DON'T WORRY WE SELL THEM)
These are needed to cover the expansion gaps in-between adjoining rooms.

Matching Radiator Pipe Roses (DON'T WORRY WE SELL THEM)
These cover any expansion gaps which have been left around radiator pipes.

Adhesive
Needed to fix your beading or skirting in place. We are unable to supply this but it can be purchased at any large DIY store
